Stadtwerke Munchen has a 60% share in the wind farm delivering electricity to 84,000 households in Munich. Eidsiva Energi and Gudbrandsal Energi are the other owners.
Raskiftet brings Stadtwerke Munchen’s clean power output to 4.1 terrawatt-hours covering half of Munich’s consumption.
The city utility has plans to cover all consumption with green power by 2025.
