Global Wind Service (GWS) has installed 35 Siemens Gamesa turbines at the 112MW Hornsdale 3 wind farm in Australia.
The four-month job involved the installation of 3.2-113 direct drive machines.
The three-phase wind farm, which is located 236km north of Adelaide, comprises a total of 99 turbines with a combined capacity of 315MW.
GWS chief executive Lars Petersen said: “We are very ambitious about this market and with yet another project successfully completed, we have taken the next step towards our continued business on the continent.”
