German outfit Green Wind Group has acquired Danish companies Ecopartner and FWE Administration, marking its entry into the wind market in Denmark.
The acquisitions add 150MW of capacity from 25 projects to Green Wind’s management portfolio, bringing the total to over 550MW in Germany and Denmark.

Green Wind specialises in the repowering of old onshore plants and maintenance management for turbines and converter platforms at offshore projects.
Ecopartner managing director and founder Erling Salling Olesen (pictured, centre left) will become managing director of Green Wind Denmark.
A further five staff will continue to be available for the existing customers in Denmark, the Green Wind said.
