Gujarat Power Industries (GIPCL) has signed a power purchase agreement with a regional electricity supplier for its 26MW Rojmal wind farm in the Indian state.
Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam will buy the electricity under a 25-year deal.
Earlier in the month, the state-owned company also signed a PPA with GIPCL for a 23.1MW project at Kuchdi in the district of Porbandar.
The local utility, which operates two gas and coal plants, is developing wind and solar plants as part of plans to expand across India.
