Stadtwerke Heidenheim has bought five wind farms in Germany with combined capacity over 38MW from unnamed sellers.
The five projects, which are spread over four regions, include the Breitenfelde 1 and 2 wind farms, which feature five Enercon E-92 turbines in Schleswig-Holstein.

The Weertzen plant comprises three Enercon E-92 machines and is in Lower Saxony, while the Holzthaleben plant consists of five Nordex N117 turbines and is in Thuringia.
The last project is the Wahlsdorf wind farm in Brandenburg, which features three GE 2.5-120 units.
Stadtwerke Heidenheim renewables portfolio rises to 132.5MW with the latest acquisitions.
All five projects are operational having come online between December 2015 and November 2017.
