A fund managed by Impax Asset Management has completed the sale of its 107.7MW wind farm portfolio in Finland to Allianz Capital Partners.
The portfolio includes two projects in Lapland and a third in the North Ostrobothnia region.
The wind farms comprise 35 turbines with a combination of Vestas and Nordex units.
Impax said the “sale is in accordance with the fund’s strategy of realising assets once they are operational”.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Impax associate director Ben Stafford said: “The sale represents a material part of our current disposal programme and follows the successful sale of our French and German portfolio earlier this year.”
The Helsinki office of White & Case was legal adviser to Impax on the deal, while was Augusta & Co was financial adviser.
