Impax Asset Management has lined up Galetech Energy Services and EnergyPro as technical and commercial managers for its 36MW Glanaruddery wind farm in Ireland.
Consultancy Galetech has been roped to provide contract management and on-site support while the Kildare-based EnergyPro will tackle technical and commercial analysis and reporting at the Kerry site.
Construction is well advanced on the 11-turbine wind farm which will feature Vestas V112 hardware scheduled for commissioning early next year.
Impax associate Lewis Haffey said the fund expects the Irish pair to deliver “real value-add” to the project also known as Dromadda More.
Galetech and EnergyPro manage more than 350MW of Irish wind.
“Our advanced data analytics techniques identify ways to improve turbine performance, while the proactive commercial management service ensures that the wind farm functions effectively as a financial entity,” said EnergyPro director Ronan O’Meara.
“Together, the analytics and commercial services will add tangible value to Glanaruddery wind farm and help Impax further increase the value of their investment.”
