Innergex Renewable Energy Inc and EOLFI have fully commissioned the 13MW La Cense wind farm in the Oise region of France.
The company said the project comprises four Nordex N117 turbines, each with a capacity of 3.3MW.
Innergex added the wind farm will generate around 33,000MWh of electricity annually and avoid approximately 1,425 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
The project is located in Saint-André-Farivillers, around 25km northeast of Beauvais.
Construction began in February 2025 and the project benefits from a 20-year power purchase agreement.
A community investment campaign launched in late 2025 raised more than €2.6m through bonds offering a 7.25% interest rate.
“The La Cense wind farm is fully aligned with Innergex’s development strategy in France, which focuses on building a portfolio of high-performing, sustainable assets that are firmly rooted in local communities,” said Jean Trudel, president and chief executive of Innergex.
“This project complements our existing operations, strengthens our footprint in the Hauts-de-France region, and creates synergies with our other nearby assets.”
“Nearly ten years after our first discussions with local elected officials, it is extremely rewarding to see this project, originally developed by EOLFI and a strong example of our development expertise, come to life, with turbines now up and running,” said Youssef El Hayani-Taïb, head of wind development at EOLFI.
“We are very pleased with the collaboration established with Innergex.”
