Canadian company Innergex Renewable Energy has completed the acquisition of three wind farms in France from Velocita with total installed capacity of 119.5MW.
The projects are the 36.1MW Rougemont 1, 44.5MW Rougemont 2 and 38.9MW Vaite projects in Bourgogne-France-Comte.
Innergex owns a 69.55% interest in the wind farms with the Desjardins Group Pension Plan owning the remaining 30.45%.
The projects, which will feature a total of 43 GE turbines rated at 2.78MW, are scheduled to be fully operational before the end of the year.
