Inox Wind has sealed two turnkey deals with public sector companies in India to develop wind farms totalling 52MW in the state of Gujarat.
One project for Indian Oil Corporation is for a 26MW wind farm at Mahidad. The second is a 26MW project for Gujarat Industries Power Company.
Inox will supply and install 26 2MW DFIG 100 rotor diameter units.
The company is responsible for the entire project lifecycle, as well as providing long-term operation and maintenance services to the two projects.
Inox Wind chief executive officer Kailash Tarachandani said: “The two orders further consolidate the company’s market leadership position across institutional clients in the country.”
