MingYang Smart Energy has announced its high steel-concrete hybrid tower solutions have entered the commercialisation phase with the installation of the first batches of MySE 4.0-166 & 173 wind turbines China.
The machines with a 160-metre hub height are going up in Anhui.

The hybrid tower has a segmented, prefabricated and prestressed structure that allows for easy transportation and adaptability to various terrains, MingYang said.
It has been certified by DNV-GL and can be customized and optimized for large turbines of 4MW+, it added.
