Mingyang Smart Energy has secured a turbine order for a 150MW wind project in Serbia in Central Europe.
The Black Peak onshore wind project, located in the city of Bor, in eastern Serbia, will deploy 25 of Mingyang Smart Energy’s 6.25-172 turbines.

The wind farm project owner is undisclosed.
The turbines will be installed with hub heights of 107.5 metres at the site where the average wind speed is 7.4 metres per second.
The model has been widely deployed, said Mingyang.
Mingyang has been a turbine supplier in the region for 12 years, starting with a 4.5MW wind farm in Bulgaria.
