The company has installed more than 2GW and is a leader within C&I operations, Muehlhan said.

Professional Wind Services chief executive Kym Dodd will stay on as minority shareholder and will continue to run the business on a day-to-day basis.

Dodd said: “We are extremely pleased to partner with Muehlhan Wind Service.

“This partnership will cement confidence with our current customers and potential new ones.

“Muehlhan Wind Service comes with many years of valuable experience, technical knowledge, and an impressive track record, and we look forward to expanding our business further together with Muehlhan.

“Professional Wind Services and MWS offer very complementary services and this transaction will allow for significant growth within the APAC region.

“Having support from MWS will allow us to continue to offer our clients reliable long-term solutions.

“Within the foreseeable future we also expect to see offshore wind in Australia, and with the support from MWS, I am convinced that we can provide strong solutions in the offshore wind space.”

Muehlhan chief executive Søren Høffer added: “We are delighted to welcome Professional Wind Services to the MWS family.

“This transaction further underpins our desire to expand competencies and geographic reach.

“It strengthens our presence within the APAC region massively.

“Having well established experts within Australia will produce attractive offerings to our clients as we continue to enter new markets.

“We are extremely pleased to partner with Kym and the team, with their outstanding knowledge of the Australian market and successful track record.

“We will support the continued expansion of Professional Wind Services ensuring broadest possible offerings towards the customers in the Australian market.”
