Muehlhan Wind Service (MWS) has acquired the operating activities of TRG-Wind, a UK-based wind company providing service and statutory inspections, for an undisclosed sum.
Danish outfit MWS is a leading full-scope independent service provider delivering wind turbine installation and maintenance solutions to the wind industry in more than 35 countries, while TRG-Wind was founded in 2014 and currently has offices in London and Hull.
“TRG-Wind has worked extensively to establish itself as a market-leading provider of service, statutory inspection, and supervision,” said COO of TRG-Wind Tony Potter.
“Core to our beliefs is providing a safe and quality-conscious service. When we were approached by MWS, we felt confident that we would become part of an organisation that shares those beliefs. We couldn’t be happier to become part of the Muehlhan group and look forward to being part of their exciting growth plans in 2023 and beyond.”
CEO of MWS Søren Høffer added: “We are delighted to have acquired the operational activities of TRG-Wind as it strategically fits well within our global plans for growth, allowing MWS to expand its breadth of services and skills within the wind industry.
“We look forward to working with Tony Potter, Daniel Overton and their teams and give a warm welcome to all TRG staff in joining the Muehlhan Wind Service family.”
