Scottish economic and community development agency Highlands and Islands Enterprise has appointed Audrey MacIver as director of its energy and low carbon unit.
MacIver, who has held various posts at the agency since joining it in 1993, replaces Calum Davidson, who retired in November.
The role involves leading HIE’s contribution to growth in the energy sector, covering renewables and oil and gas, including project decommissioning.
“There will be significant opportunity for our businesses and communites across the Highlands and Islands to secure direct benefits from the energy and low carbon sector, particularly in emerging areas of marine energy and oil and gas decommissioning,” MacIver said.
