The Nordex Group has secured its first turbine deal for a project in Ecuador.
An unnamed developer has placed an order for 19 N149/5.X units for an undisclosed 112MW scheme in the southern part of the country.

Installation of the first Delta4000 machine is scheduled for October 2026, with commissioning planned for March 2027.
Completion of the wind farm will bring the South American country’s total installed capacity to 181MW.
