Nordex Group is to supply and install turbines for two wind farms in the Netherlands.
The order, received in the last quarter of 2018 from Vattenfall, is for the 22MW Haringvliet project and the 27MW Moerdijk project.
The turbines for Haringvliet, which is located in the Zuid-Holland province on Goeree-Overflakkee island, will be delivered in December 2019.
The wind farm will come online in spring 2020.
The Moerdijk facility, in the port and industrial area of the town of Moerdijk, in the province of North Brabant, will be completed in summer 2020.
Haringvliet will use six of Nordex’s N117/3675 models and Moerdijk will comprise seven of the company’s N131/3900 turbines.
Nordex will service the wind farms for two years, with a 23-year extension option.
Nordex Group chief sales officer Patxi Landa said: “Vattenfall is a strong and important partner for our activities in Europe and especially in the Netherlands.
“This order means that in the coming years we will be installing almost 350MW in Holland for Vattenfall alone.”
