Nordex booked more than €1.17bn in orders last year in Germany, its highest-ever annual intake in its home country.
New orders rose 28% compared with 2015, when it secured €915m.
Nordex said December was a strong month, with orders to supply 89 turbines for 33 projects with a combined capacity of 262.5MW.
Five deals for 18 3.3MW turbines were placed by Energie Baden-Württemberg.
Nordex’s global bookings last year grew by 33.6% to €3.3bn, buoyed by the acquisition of Acciona Windpower.
