Nordex is to supply Acciona Energia with 22 AW125/3000 turbines for the 132MW Mount Gellibrand wind farm in Australia.
The deal is a follow up to an order for 22 AW125/3000 machines made by Acciona at the end of last year for the project located in Colac, about 100km west of Melbourne.
Nordex will ship the hardware to Australia from the autumn, after which Acciona will start installation.
Most of the 87-metre tall steel tube towers will be sourced locally, while the rotor blades will be produced in south-east Asia and the nacelles in Spain, Nordex said.
The order includes a service contract for an initial period of two years.
Mount Gellibrand is scheduled to go online in July 2018.
