Nordex Group has been selected to supply and install 236MW of N163 turbines for wind projects in North America, with installation scheduled to begin in 2027.
The turbines will feature the cold climate version of the N163/6.X model, incorporating the company’s advanced anti-icing system for rotor blades to ensure high availability and minimise ice-related downtime during severe winter conditions.
