Nordex has secured a 297MW turbine order for a wind project in the Midwestern region of the US.
Nordex will supply 62 N149/4.0-4.5 turbines for the undisclosed project and client.

The turbines will be supplied in a 4.8MW operating mode.
Construction will begin in spring 2021. Commissioning is planned for the end of next year.
Last month Nordex received a 312MW turbine order for a wind project in Texas, for an unnamed client and wind farm.
For the Texas project Nordex will supply 65 N149/4.0-4.5 machines in a 4.8MW operating mode.
Installation is scheduled to start in May 2021 and the wind farm will be connected to the grid later the same year.
