OX2 has signed an agreement with renewable energy company Rabbalshede Kraft to manage the 76MW Tolpanvaara wind farm in Finland.
The 13-turbine array is located approximately 30 kilometers from the center of Pudasjärvi.
Under the agreement, OX2 will be responsible for the technical, commercial and financial management of the wind farm.
The Tolpanvaara wind farm was built in 2022–2024, and it began commercial production in 2024.
The wind farm produces approximately 250 GWh of renewable electricity annually.
OX2 also manages the Mörknässkogen wind farm near Vöyri in Finland for Rabbalshede Kraft, which has five Nordex wind turbines and an annual production of 97 GWh.
Lars Bryngelsson, Head of Technical and Commercial Management at OX2, said: “We continue to expand our footprint in Finland, and this agreement once again demonstrates the attractiveness of our service offering.”
Peter Wesslau, CEO of Rabbalshede Kraft, said: “Adding Tolpanvaara to our portfolio is part of our strategic expansion into the Finnish market.
“Our goal is to develop our project portfolio into diverse energy areas following the Swedish model by combining wind power, solar power and energy storage solutions.”
