PNE Group has secured power purchase agreements (PPAs) for 11 of wind farms totalling over 170MW.
The German wind operator confirmed it negotiated a large part of the PPAs as service provider for external wind farm companies with various marketers.
The PPAs represent an estimated 350GWh of electricity generation volume.
PNE, which has negotiated over 1TWh of PPAs to date, has expanded its range of services to include transaction consultancy and PPA brokerage amid the current high market prices for electricity.
The group added it has “tailor-made” its PPAs to the flexible requirements of wind turbines that are no longer subsidised and can secure financial revenue for their operators.
Markus Lesser, CEO of PNE AG: “The conclusion of these PPAs is a great success for all parties involved. The PNE Group has enabled economically sensible deals for wind farm operators with innovative solutions. Our experience in this field has thus paid off once again.”
