Nordex has launched an investigation after one of its turbines collapsed at a wind farm in Wales.
The German manufacturer said an N90/2500 unit fell to the ground at the Pant Y Wal project on Monday.

No one was injured and “all necessary safety measures have been implemented” after the incident, a spokesman added.
“A team of local Nordex specialists with experts from Nordex main office are currently investigating the root cause of the incident together with the wind farm owner,” he added.
“As yet, no reliable statement can be made as to the underlying cause of the collapse.”
The Pant Y Wal wind farm comprises 29 N90/2500 turbines.
Twenty one of those have been in operation since end of 2013, including the collapsed turbine.
