PNE has sold the Bokel wind farm in Germany to an investment fund managed by Union Investment.
The company said the 25.2MW project comprises seven turbines and was commissioned in April 2025.
It added the wind farm generates enough electricity to supply around 17,800 three-person households.
PNE noted the operation of the asset will continue to be managed by its subsidiary energy consult until at least the end of 2029.
The company said the sale forms part of its strategy to strengthen its financial base while continuing to expand its own generation portfolio.
“We are very pleased to have found a buyer who thinks long-term, responsibly and sustainably,” said Roland Stanze, chief operating officer of PNE AG.
“By selling the ‘Bokel’ wind farm, we are deliberately strengthening our financial base and creating additional scope for action for the further implementation of our strategy.”
