Qualitas Energy has secured permits for two wind projects in Germany with a combined capacity of 59MW.
The company said the approvals cover 10 turbines across Rhineland-Palatinate and Lower Saxony.
It added the Rhineland-Palatinate project includes three turbines of 6.8MW each, totalling 20.4MW.
Qualitas Energy noted the Lower Saxony project involves repowering five turbines with seven new units to reach 39MW.
The company said the projects will generate enough electricity to supply more than 39,000 households.
“These permitting milestones reflect the strength and quality of our in-house development capabilities,” said Johannes Overbeck, ceo of Qualitas Energy Deutschland GmbH.
“At the same time, further digitalisation and acceleration of permitting processes remain critical to enabling a faster expansion of renewable energy.”
