Two wind projects PNE Group is developing have been successful in the latest German onshore wind tender issued by the Bundesnetzagentur in August.
The sites in Sundern-Allendorf and Gnutz West Ib went through the tendering process, having already received their permits at the end of June this year.
In Sundern-Allendorf in North Rhine-Westphalia, five wind turbines with a total rated output of 33MW are to be erected, while in Gnutz West Ib in Schleswig-Holstein four units with a total output of 22.4MW will be installed.
Both wind farms are scheduled to go into operation next year.
“It speaks for the quality of the projects that we have succeeded for the third time in winning contracts for all the projects we put out to tender,” said PNE chief executive Markus Lesser.
“We plan to include both wind farms in our own generation portfolio after their completion in order to further expand our position as an independent power producer.”
The company’s own generation portfolio comprises around 350MW.
