PNE Group subsidiary WKN has commissioned a wind farm in Segeberg, Germany.
The 7.6MW Gross Niendorf project, in Schleswig-Holstein, consists of two GE 3.8MW turbines.
WKN completed the build in three months.
The wind farm will feed in through an existing substation run by local utility Schleswig-Holstein Netz.
PNE Group chairman Markus Lesser said: “The completion of our Gross Niendorf wind energy project shows that despite the moratorium still in place in Schleswig-Holstein, projects can be implemented there again, and we can now begin to work on our remarkably extensive project pipeline.”
WKN managing director Gabriel Meurer said: “We’re thrilled that collaborating with the manufacturer GE for the first time went so smoothly.
“This made it possible to complete the project in so short a time.”
