Indian developer Inox Wind made a profit after tax of Inr452 crores in the year ended 31 March, up 52% from Inr296 crores in the previous year.
Revenues stood at Inr4414 crores, an increase of 63% on 2015’s Inr2709 crores.
Inox said it commissioned projects with a cumulative capacity of 786MW during the financial year, a record for the company.
This equated to growth of 187% over the 274MW commissioned in the previous financial year.
Inox executive director Devansh Jain said: “During the year, Inox Wind doubled its manufacturing capacity to 1600MW by commissioning its integrated manufacturing unit in Madhya Pradesh, which is amongst the largest manufacturing facilities in Asia.”
The company said it had an order book of more than 1.1GW at the end of March.
