RP Global has commissioned the 34.2MW Rudine wind farm in Croatia, its second project in the country
The €123m project is located some 50km from Dubrovnik and features 12 GE 2.85-103 turbines. It joins the 43.7MW Danilo wind farm which is already spinning.
RP’s Croatia country manager Bojan Rescec said: “The result of yet another fruitful cooperation with the IFC and Unicredit, Rudine will further push Croatia’s renewable energy agenda and serve the Croatian population by contributing towards the reduction of pollution and dependence on energy imports.”
The company said it intends to pursue further projects in Croatia but added that the “lack of legal framework” and a new government may delay its plans.
