Senvion is to supply and install 30 MM100 2MW turbines for PLT Energia’s 60MW Tursi Colobraro wind farm in Italy.
The project, which is currently the largest under the third Italian feed-in tariff auction system, is located in the Basilicata region of Southern Italy.
Senvion said the turbines will be installed starting next autumn.
Senvion South East Europe managing director Carlo Schiapparelli said: “With our service offering, we will make sure that Tursi wind farm will contribute to the green future of the region.
PLT energia chief executive officer Pierluigi Tortora said: “The realization of this project is a springboard for PLT: After months of hard work, we are pleased to have secured the construction of this wind farm.”
