Senvion has completed the 24.6MW Pierre-De Saurel community wind farm in Quebec.
The project, which comprises 12 MM92 cold climate version type turbines, is located in Yamaska, Saint-Aimé and Saint-Robert.
It is set to generate more than $200m in revenue for local municipalities, as well as the farmers on whose lands the project is installed.
Senvion North America chief executive Helmut Herold said: “The commissioning of Pierre-De Saurel was faster than usual.
“Due to our experience with community wind farms and the exceptional quality of our project management team, we exceeded regular lead times.”
