Siemens Gamesa has won a 38MW turbine order for a wind project in northern Spain.
The agreement with Grupo Jorge is for the supply and installation of seven SG 5.0-145 turbines and one SG 3.3-132 turbine for the Rio Ebro wind project in Zaragoza.

The wind farm is the fifth to be signed with Grupo Jorge and is due to be installed by the end of 2022.
Siemens Gamesa has a total installed capacity of close to 15GW in Spain, which is over half the total installed wind capacity in the country.
