Siemens has won an order to supply and install 22 wind turbines on the 50MW Mesihovina wind farm in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The deal, announced today by utility developer Elektroprivreda HZHB, is worth almost €72m. The turbine model was not disclosed.
Mesihovina is the country’s first wind farm and will be built near the city of Mostar in the south of the country.
German bank KfW is the chief debt provider for the project which is due to be commissioned in 2017.
