Spares in Motion, an independent trading platform for the wind turbine sector, has opened a new office in India.
The Chennai office will take advantage of the after-warranty market for spare parts and maintenance in the country which is seeing strong growth, the company said.
Achal Kumar, who has worked for over 25 years in India’s wind sector, will manage the new venture.
“In the last year the number of Indian users who started using the Spares in Motion platform doubled,” a spokesman for the company said.
“That’s why we decided to support this growth and especially our users, by opening a local office in beautiful Chennai.”
