Starwood Energy Group Global has finalised agreements to finance and construct the 100MW Northwest Ohio wind farm in the US state.
The project, which is located in Paulding county, will feature GE 2.5-116 hardware.
It will sell all of the electricity generated by the turbines to General Motors.
White Construction will build the project, which is expected to be completed in fall 2018.
An affiliate of Citi will provide tax equity for the project and Rabobank will provide the construction and term debt.
Starwood Energy Group acquired the rights to the wind farm in October 2014 from developer Trishe Resources.
Starwood Energy Group principal Alex Daberko said: “We are excited to have assembled a great team of trusted partners for Northwest Ohio Wind.
“We look forward to continued collaboration with the local community to make this project successful.”
