Trishe Wind Ohio has lined up Gamesa turbines for its 100MW Northwest Ohio wind project in the US.
The developer proposes to erect 50 G114 2.1MW machines, said Trishe in a regulatory filing to the Ohio Power Siting Board.
The developer conducted some limited road and foundation construction in December 2014 and started work on the project substation in late 2015.
India-headquartered Trishe in 2012 acquired the project from US developer National Wind under a deal authorized by the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota. In 2014, private investment firm Starwood Energy Group bought the two-phase 250MW Northwest Ohio wind project from Trishe.
The project area spans 12,750 acres of leased land in Paulding County east of the existing Timber Road and Blue Creek wind farms.
The 100MW facility will connect to the electric grid via an American Electric Power 138kV line that runs through the footprint and will tie into the existing Haviland substation through an interconnection agreement with PJM.
