Suzlon Group has won a deal with an unnamed independent power producer for a 197.4MW wind project in Andhra Pradesh in India.
The Indian manufacturer said a binding term sheet has been signed and an advance payment received.
Suzlon said it will supply, install and commission 47 S97 and 47 S111 wind turbines “once the due diligence is completed and construction contracts are inked”.
All the wind turbines have capacity of 2.1MW.
The project will be located in the Anantapur district, includes operation and maintenance services for 12 years.
It will be commissioned by February 2017.
Suzlon Energy chief sales officer Ishwar Mangal said: “We are glad to receive the repeat order from one of the leading renewable IPPs and are encouraged by the trust and confidence demonstrated by the customer.”
