Suzlon Group has won a contract to supply turbines totalling 226.8MW to an Indian independent power producer for a wind farm in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh.
The order consists of 108 2.1MW S111 machines on 90-metre tubular towers.
The project is scheduled for completion by March.
Suzlon said it has entered into an exclusive supply and installation agreement, as well as engineering and construction of the project.
It will also be responsible for operation and maintenance services at the wind farm for an initial period of 10 years.
