Swedish company Rabbalshede Kraft has been awarded the final environmental permits for the around 200MW Andberg wind farm in Lillhardal, Harjedalen.
The 57-turbine project in central Sweden is largely within an area designated for wind power with good resources, said the developer.
An application was originally filed in 2010 with preliminary permits awarded in December 2015.
“A project of this size can provide significant positive ripple effects and contribute to jobs and business opportunities for locals both during construction and operation,” said the company.
