Swedish developer Stena Renewable will start work in the spring on the 155MW Aby-Alebo wind farm in southern Sweden.
The Skr1.7bn (€161m) project will feature 36 Vestas V150 turbines with total heights of about 200 metres.
Aby-Alebo is expected to produce about 500 gigawatt-hours a year of electricity once operational in the first quarter of 2022.
The project is expected to create approximately 350 jobs during construction and will use local labour when possible.
Kanonaden will build access roads and install foundations and the project’s grid, while Eon will deliver the grid connection.
Nineteen local land owners are also involved in the project, Stena said.
Stena Renewable chief executive Peter Zachrisson said: “It is windy in the area and the wind farm will produce large amounts of renewable electricity.
“This means that we can create extensive climate benefits for many years to come.
“We have previously worked with these three suppliers in several wind power plants with very good results.
“We are very happy to have this project realised with them and the landowners.”
