Trianel has acquired the 4.8MW Jeckenbach wind farm in Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany.
The project consists of two Nordex N117/2400 turbines, which are slated for commissioning in late June.
The units have a tip height of 199 metres and are expected to produce some 12,200MWh of electricity each year.
Jeckenbach is the first wind farm in Trianel Erneuerbare Energien’s portfolio, adding to two solar parks in Brandenburg totalling at 20MW.
Trianel Erneuerbare Energien, a subsidiary of Trianel, was set up in August 2015 and plans to expand it renewable energy portfolio to 275MW by 2018.
