Turbine installer GO Wind has announced its European expansion as the company embeds its own installation team in Germany.
The move comes as the company completes two turbine installations for Enercon.
Located in Grossenwiehe, North Germany, the installation of the two turbines – both Enercon E-115 EP3 models – is the second successful Enercon installation for the North East business and sees the company successfully operating two dedicated Enercon installation teams in both the UK and Germany.
The next phase of the Enercon programme will see Go Wind kick start work in Ireland on an ambitious schedule focusing on the installation of seven wind turbines across Larne.
GO Wind MD and Founder Paya Kolahi said: “This installation forms part of a multi agreement programme with Enercon that will see us installing wind turbines, not only across the UK and Germany, but also across many other parts of Europe.
“We are very proud of the partnership we have with Enercon – and the many other major industry players we are installing on behalf of – and are very excited to roll out the extensive programme of installations for this leading wind energy company.”
