Ventient Energy has completed the acquisition of a 443MW solar and onshore wind portfolio in Spain.
The purchasing agreement that obtained regulatory approval this month comprises 203MW of onshore wind and 240MW of hybridised solar capacity which will be built on Ventient’s wind sites in the Spanish region of Castilla y Leon.
This acquisition will bring Ventient’s installed capacity to 2.8GW, which is set out to exceed 3GW with the development of the hybridized solar portfolio included in the purchase.
Ventient will also continue to work with Vapat for the delivery of operations services for the portfolio.
