The renewables arm of BayWa has launched a statutory consultation for its proposed 163MW Oaklands Farm Solar Project in South Derbyshire, England.
The German developer said the process will run from 21 April until 6 June with all consultation documents, including the Preliminary Environmental Information Report, non-technical summary and associated plans available to view on the Downloads section of its website.
A virtual exhibition and public consultation events around the project, which is based west of the village of Rosliston, will take place in early May.
BayWa r.e. plans to develop a solar park with 37.5MWh of co-located energy storage covering 540 acres over two separate parcels of land.
The project would connect to the national grid view a new overhead cable to the Drakelow Substation, located to the north of the site.
The developer will submit a planning application under the Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project regime this year.
