Vestas and labour union IG Metall have agreed to continue talks on 17 March.
Nils de Baar, Managing Director of Vestas Deutschland, said: “Our employees work every day to make a contribution to the energy transition in Germany.
“With these discussions, we explore opportunities to become an even more attractive employer.
“We have a good foundation, which we have developed in the past together with the Vestas Works Council.
“I am therefore confident that we will be able to agree on the key points with IG Metall by the end of the month.”
Daniel Friedrich, district manager of IG Metall, said: “We should use the time until the end of March to come to common results.
“Employees want clarity on what will happen to their working conditions.”
In late 2022 more than 250 employees of the wind turbine manufacturer Vestas went on strike outside of the company’s German headquarters in Hamburg for a collective agreement, organised IG Metall.
