Vestas has landed a 328MW order to supply and install turbines at several projects in Norway.
The Danish manufacturer said that variants of 4MW machines will feature, but did not immediately give further details of the number of units, the developer or the projects.
Hardware will have “tailormade configuration” based on site-specific wind conditions to maximise energy production.
Installation is expected to start in 2020 and 2021, according to Vestas.
Turbines will feature the company’s in-house scada solution as well as a five-year servicing deal. Commissioning is also included in the scope.
