Vestas has secured an 86MW order in Germany for 12 of its latest-generation turbines.
The company will supply the V172-7.2MW machines to WestfalenWind for four different wind farm projects.

The turbines will power the Paulsgrund 1, Lauberg, Homberg and Paulsgrund 2 wind farms.
The order includes a 20-year service agreement.
Turbine delivery is planned to begin in the third quarter of 2026, with commissioning expected in the first quarter of 2027.
Vestas said the order forms part of its Q3 intake.
