The Italian award covers 30MW for PLT’s Castronovo di Sicilia project.
The Schenkenberg IV + V contract features 10 V172-7.2MW turbines and includes a 25-year AOM 5000 service agreement, with deliveries due to begin in the third quarter of 2026 and commissioning scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2027.
The Niederlungwitz deal comprises eight V162-6.2MW units under a 20-year AOM 4000 service agreement, with turbine deliveries from the third quarter of 2026 and commissioning starting in the second quarter of 2027.
The Wulkow-Booßen order covers eight V150-6.0MW machines supported by a 25-year AOM 4000 contract, with deliveries slated for the first quarter of 2027 and commissioning in the second quarter of 2027.
For Castronovo di Sicilia, Vestas will supply five V162-6.0MW turbines and provide a 20-year AOM 5000 service deal, with delivery and commissioning due in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Vestas said it is “proud” to confirm the orders as part of its fourth-quarter intake, adding that it designs, manufactures, installs and services wind turbines globally.
