Vestas has secured a 151MW order for several wind parks in Spain.
The contract includes the supply and installation of 26 V136-4.5MW, three V163-4.5MW wind turbines and another five V136-4.5MW wind turbines delivered in 4.0 operating mode.
The contract includes a 15-year service agreement.
The projects and customer are undisclosed.
Turbine delivery is expected to start in the second half of 2024 whilst commissioning is planned for the last quarter of 2024 and the first half of 2025.

Vestas manufactures V136 blades at its factory in Daimiel (Ciudad Real), where it will also manufacture V163 blades.
The 151MW order for the projects in Spain is in addition to a 74MW order with SIMIC for projects on the Italian island of Sardinia.
The order is for the supply and installation of 12 V162-6.2MW turbines for the Villacidro and Musei wind parks and Vestas will service them for 20 years.
Turbine delivery is planned for the first half of 2024, whilst commissioning is expected for the second half of 2024.
The company has also won a 45MW turbine order for wind projects in Greece.
EDF Renewables placed the order for 10 V136-4.5MW machines for the Karamoutzi and Karfoula wind parks, located in Viotia.
Delivery of the units is planned for the third quarter of 2024, while commissioning is scheduled for the fourth quarter of the same year.
